France, Dinan Nov 13 Sunday

We painted most of the day and into the evening yesterday. This painting was of a forest where knights in shining armor were supposedly known to horseback through here in the days of King Arthur.
This next painting is an abstract of a field of sunflowers that we passed that was as long as a mile.

This is the original photo that inspired me to paint the abstract. It was a fun painting to work on, trying to keep my choice of  colors to just a few shades of ochre, black, grey and hints of blue gray.

Sunday was bustling with people and all of the art galleries and clothing stores were open today. Church bells ringing all day , very nice to stroll the town and see it all come to life.
